Martha Johnson Burke has been involved in children’s ministry in Christian Churches for over forty-five years. She has enjoyed teaching Bible lessons at Bible Camps and orphanages internationally. Her outreach also encompassed instructing some of the youth living

in orphanage settings to return to their villages and be teachers of children themselves of the Word of God. Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing she is intentional in her teaching to address physical issues in our culture as well as spiritual.

She is married to Kevin Burke and together they have ten children, nine which are happily married and twenty-three grandchildren. The truth of God’s Word, His love and mercy, and the power of the Holy Spirit have brought all of their children and their families to place their trust in Jesus as their Savior and Lord. She is transparent in sharing the trials her family has faced, and the difference God’s love, His help, and His Truth found in the Bible have made in her life and her calling.

She has chosen Psalms 71:17,18 for her life verses.

“Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day, I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.” Psalms 71:17,18
